Getting Started with the Site Editor
The site editor is a simple yet powerful way to build websites with Horizon.
The webpage you're reading was built with the Horizon site editor. The site editor is meant to be a simple content managements system where you build sites or webpages out of components. Each component mimics an HTML element and has properties of its own.
Components can be nested and each have IDs meaning their contents and properties can be set via an API. Some components can be populated with the help of the AI 'wand'.
You can create new sites from the 'sites' page.

the 'new site' button
When you create a site, you will begin with a single 'root' component. At the top is the main settings bar for editing. You can alter the site name, alter site-wide settings and perhaps most importantly, toggle between edit and view modes.
Sites can be built separate from spaces, and can be toggled between public and private.

The 'site' main settings page in edit mode
The site editor is a block editor where each component represents an HTML element. In the current version that means that edit components can differ significantly in their structure than their final form. Components are built with the same toolbars and interfaces, but are still treated similarly to HTML elements.
