Submitting Custom Plugins for Review
If you would like to share or sell your plugin on the Horizon website itself you will need to submit the plugin for review. Here's how.
(coming soon) Horizon packages and plugins belong to two camps: official and unofficial. Official plugins run within the Horizon core and are available to Horizon users. Unofficial plugins are submitted by Horizon users. Additionally, plugins have licensing information and can be free or for sale.
In order to submit a plugin or package to the Horizon marketplace, it is necessary to undergo a review process.
'Official' plugins suggest closer partnership between the Horizon core team and plugin developers. An 'official' plugin means the Horizon team commits to maintaining and recommending the plugin for an official purpose.
If you have developed plugins, you can always offer them as open source projects accessible via your own infrastructure. If you are interested in putting your plugin for sale, or run on Horizon core infrastructure to improve performance, or request sponsorship as the 'official' plugin for Horizon, please contact us.
