Adding Data Manually
With or without a corresponding canvas object, you can add data points and adjust fields.
Adding data manually can be performed with or without the draw tool. In the visualization section we will show a little more about the draw tool. For now we'll just add a data point without a corresponding visual, setting a few fields.

The '+' symbol can be used to add a data point without any visual.
Once you add a point you can add a name (for labeling and searching). Every point has the default 'space' category. You can add additional tables with preset schemas if your data point applies. You can also add notes to each entity you create. This means a data point can be as simple as a row in a table or as complex as a full-fledged entity with notes and many attached tables.
